Itinerary
Arrival at Naxos port or airport and private transfer to the hotel. After check-in, enjoy free time to settle in and discover the relaxed atmosphere of the island. Depending on arrival time, guests may take a first walk through Naxos Town, with its narrow alleys, small shops, cafés and traditional tavernas. In the evening, we suggest visiting the famous Portara, the marble gate of the ancient Temple of Apollo, one of the most iconic sunset spots in the Cyclades. Overnight in Naxos.
After breakfast, enjoy a hands-on countryside experience that introduces guests to the agricultural identity of Naxos. Visit a local farm and learn about traditional island production, seasonal crops and rural life. The experience may include cheese-making, tasting of local products and insights into the island’s famous dairy tradition. Continue with a visit to a pottery workshop, where guests discover a craft closely connected to daily life in the Cyclades. Today is dedicated to the flavors and aromas of Naxos Town. Enjoy a relaxed food walk through the old town, with stops for local bites, Greek coffee, honey tasting and traditional products. Guests may discover small family shops, hidden corners of the Venetian Castle area and local delicacies such as cheeses, herbs, sweets, olive oil and ouzo with meze. This experience combines gastronomy with light cultural exploration, making it perfect for FIT clients who enjoy discovering a destination through taste, stories and local encounters. After breakfast, enjoy a curated tasting experience focused on two of the island’s most beloved products: cheese and wine. Naxos is known for its rich agricultural land and long dairy tradition, while local wines add another layer to the island’s gastronomy. Guests taste selected cheeses paired with local wines and learn about production methods, island ingredients and traditional recipes. The afternoon is at leisure to relax by the beach, enjoy the hotel facilities or explore nearby villages independently. In the evening, guests may enjoy dinner in a traditional taverna.
