From Marco Polo Airport you can take the ATVO express bus or ACTV Line 5 bus to Piazzale Roma in about 20 minutes. For maximum comfort private water taxis are available, while Terravision buses serve Treviso Airport.
Public Transportation
There are no cars in Venice and all travel is done on foot or by water. The Vaporetto public water buses operated by ACTV stop at all major sights and are the main way to get around. To cross the Grand Canal affordably you can use the Traghetti, while specific Vaporetto lines serve the surrounding islands like Murano and Burano.
