    Highlights

Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha

Of all the places to visit in Bangkok, the Grand Palace is the most famous attraction there is. The palace was once the home of the king. Built in 1782, the grand palace was the royal residence for generations and is still used for important ceremonies and to host heads of state.

    Wat Pho & Wat Arun

A visit to Wat Pho is essential for every traveler in Bangkok. It is home to the Reclining Buddha, which is fifteen meters high and forty-six meters long; the feet alone are over five meters. The entire statue is covered in gold leaf.

    Chatuchak Market

With over 8,000 stalls covering 27 acres of space, this is one of the largest markets in the world. Open every Saturday and Sunday, it attracts nearly 200,000 visitors a day. You will find everything you could possibly imagine for sale, mostly at local prices and not tourist ones.

    Bangkok National Museum The

Bangkok National Museum houses the largest collection of artifacts and Thai art. The museum was first opened by King Rama V to display the gifts given to him by his father. There are many interesting things there, such as Chinese weapons, precious stones, puppets, clothing, textiles, and Khon masks.

    IDEAL DESTINATION

The Asian city that lives in every sense

Bangkok is a crossroads where tradition and the future, sacred temples and the lights of skyscrapers meet. Bustling yet warm, noisy yet enchanting, it is the epitome of the Thai way of life. Bangkok combines the richness of Thai culture with the energy of a modern metropolis. From sacred temples and royal palaces to local markets, skyscrapers, and nightlife, the city offers experiences for every traveler. Colorful, spiritual, and exciting, Bangkok is experienced with all the senses.

    Culinary journey in Bangkok

Bangkok is a global culinary destination, with a cuisine that marries spicy, sweet, and salty. Try pad thai from street stalls, tom yum soup, mango sticky rice, and award-winning dishes on rooftops. From markets like Yaowarat (Chinatown) to Michelin-starred restaurants, the city offers unforgettable flavors.

The best time to visit Bangkok

The ideal period recommended is from late November through late February. It is the peak tourist season for the country, due to the favorable climate, ideal temperatures, and the absence of rain and humidity that characterize the country’s subtropical climate for the rest of the year.

    How to get around Bangkok

    Transportation options to/from the airport

Suvarnabhumi Airport is located 25 km from the city center and serves many cities such as Athens and Thessaloniki with connecting flights. The airport connects to the city by bus (airport express €4), train (airport rail link, €2.50), or by taxi which costs approximately €14.
From Don Mueang Airport, travel to the city center by bus (A1, A4), since there is no railway connection to the city.

    Public Transportation

Getting around the city is achieved through the public transportation network. Modes of transport are not very convenient within the chaotic city. Choose to travel using the BTS, Sky train, and MRT railway systems that connect most areas of the city. Alternatively, use buses or trams, taxis (with the meter turned on), or the famous three-wheeled tuk tuks, for trips within the city. Alternatively, choose a boat or riverboat for routes on the Chao Phraya River.

Athens 4 days Group Tour from Germany

Thank you very much for the group to Athens! They had a great time. They were very enthusiastic about the trip & guide Jason. he swimming/beach stop after Corinth was a big plus. They enjoyed the nature as addition to the city and culture. Always good to add that when visiting Corinth.

The location of the hotel was very good, so a bus transfer in the evening was not always necessary. They could have easily come back via the metro to the hotel. That would have saved us real money.

Thanks again and looking forward to all the coming groups!

    Αthens, Santorini and Corfu
My Kids and I loved the trip except for our lost baggage from the Aegean airlines upon arrival at Athens at the start of the trip.Loved all the sightseeing. Tour guides and Pick up services were awesome!! Tour guides were very knowledgeable in their area and history of the city and my kids and I loved that. They answered all our questions. Pick up services were always on time.I just wish I had a little more time in Corfu to do the boat tour as I had planned. Wasn’t able to accomplish that. Loved the wine tasting, Oia and Fira in Santorini. Thank You so much for helping me plan this trip. Great memories made on this trip!!Savita
