Eftitania is famous for its walking tourism. You can find a variety of trails. You will find the best in Tornos, organized and with good signage. Walk on the path of the waterfalls with the cave, on the old stone bridge, in Neraidalonos, in the small Pantavrechei.
Prousos Monastery
Carved into the vertical rock, built in the 12th century, the monastery houses ecclesiastical relics, Byzantine icons and part of the armament of George Karaiskakis. Apart from the exhibits, the panoramic view of the green slopes is stunning.
Lake of Kremasta
One of the largest and most beautiful artificial lakes in the country, the lake of Kremasta is the "meeting" point of the Acheloos, Tavropos, Trikeriotis and Agrafiotis rivers, about 50 km west of Karpenisi.
