The train of Pelion

Hiking trails to enjoy the unique nature of Pelion, there are many with different levels of difficulty. They are well signaled in their majority and generally follow the cobbled streets that connected the villages with each other.

The ski resort is very popular during the winter. In addition to skiing you can try other activities. There are 4 slopes with a total length of 7.5 km (three adults and one child), 5 lifts with a total capacity of 2,000 people.

You can reach Pelion by car, bus or train from Athens or Thessaloniki.
It is 320 km from Athens by bus and the duration of the trip is about 4 and a half hours while from Thessaloniki the trip lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes (217 km)
Public transportation
If you do not have your own car to explore the beautiful villages of Pelion, you can rent a car from Volos.
