Exploring the alleys
You could spend hours exploring the beautiful little alleys of Nimborio, full of colorful houses with bougainvillea. Along the way, you will meet the famous clock tower in front of the City Hall.
Medieval castle
An amazing castle overlooks the endless blue of the Aegean. It is about 3 km on foot from the port and from there it has a climb of about 20 to 30 minutes. But it is definitely worth a visit as in addition to the magical landscape to the island, you will also see the abandoned Medieval village, once inhabited by locals.
At the port
The mansions that once belonged to captains show the great naval past of the small island. At the tables of the picturesque taverns there are dishes of fresh fish, local pasta (known as spaghetti) and delicious meats. Once you have eaten, visit the 19th century church of Agios Nikolaos.
The windmills
High on the hillside above Nimborio there are three iconic windmills that seem to stand guard over the harbor. The panoramic sea view will reward you.
