Kernitsa Monastery
Built on a steep ravine, 2 km west of the village of Nymfasia, with a catholicon dedicated to the Dormition of the Virgin Mary dating back to 1105 AD. The icon of the Virgin Mary is considered miraculous. During the Greek Revolution, it served as a refuge for Kolokotronis.
