Itinerary
Start your day by arriving in the fortified town of Areopoli, the historic heart of Mani. Stroll through the flagstone alleys, admiring the austere stone architecture and towers. Visit the central square and the historic Church of Taxiarchis.
In the afternoon, head down to the stunning coastal settlement of Limeni, where stone houses sit right on the edge of the turquoise water. End the evening at a seaside taverna, tasting authentic regional dishes like smoked pork called siglino and traditional olive oil pies.
Dedicate your morning to exploring the magnificent Diros Caves. Take a guided boat ride through the subterranean lake, marveling at the incredible rock formations reflecting in the water.
Afterward, drive further south to Gerolimenas, a picturesque and rugged fishing village nestled in a dramatic cliffside bay. Spend a relaxed afternoon by the clear waters and conclude your day with a fresh seafood dinner right by the old stone pier.

Embark on a morning trip to the colorful port town of Gytheio. Walk along the vibrant harbor lined with pastel-colored neoclassical buildings. Cross the small causeway to the pine-covered islet of Cranae to see the historic lighthouse and the tower where Paris and Helen of Troy spent the night according to mythology.

Spend your final morning driving through the green, olive-rich landscapes of Outer Mani to visit the charming village of Kardamyli. Stroll past old stone towers and quiet paths that lead to the sea.
