Itinerary
Arrival at the airport of Thessaloniki, pick up your car and go to Volos, the beautiful city in front of the sea. Enjoy the night in the city and dine in one of the fantastic taverns located all over the city, popular for the tsipouro and meze food named “tsipouradika”. Overnight to your 5* hotel in Volos.
Start early in the morning with a nice breakfast and then we suggest exploring Pelion region through hiking. The myths says that Pelion was the summer residence of the Olympian gods. Walking among forests of chestnuts, pines and olive trees, contrasting with the deep blue of the Aegean or the softer shades of Pagasetic golf, is the icons you are viewing when walking through the hiking trails all over Pelion. Return to Volos, overnight.
Start your day with delicious breakfast and after that we suggest you take a part in a little trip across the coastline of North Pelion. Along the coasts of North Pelion, at a distance of approximately 45-50 min with a speed boat from Agios Ioannis, you will find a cluster of caves. This is the place where all the ancient Greek myths are revived. Feel the unique beauty of the place and immerse yourself in this atmosphere. Return to Volos and enjoy the nightlife of the city. Overnight.
After breakfast we suggest going horse riding in Pelion’s region. The old cobbled paths that you will follow during the horse riding have been maintained by many generations of native people and each one carries a history of its own. You’ll have an opportunity to enjoy viewing a mix of mountain and sea. Continue exploring the region through cooking lessons on the farm. You will enjoy learning how to cook local dishes. Return to the hotel in Volos. Overnight
Return to Thessaloniki for your departure flight.
