Itinerary
Arrival at the airport of Thessaloniki, pick up your car and go to Kalambaka, which is built on the feet of the Meteora. Kalambaka is a destination rich in history with many important monuments to visit. Enjoy the night in the city and dine in one of the traditional taverns. Spend the night at the 4-star hotel in Kalambaka.
Begin your day with a Greek breakfast in the city of Kalambaka and then we offer you to visit some of the great wineries of the region tour from the vineyards to the cellar, and get to know the production line and the bottling process also try some of the wines accompanied by traditional locally produced cheeses. After that return to the hotel.
Start your day with a traditional breakfast in Kalambaka and then drive to Meteora to see the ancient Byzantine monasteries build on the top of the rocks and enjoy amazing views and spectacular nature. Visit one of the monasteries to see the traditional architecture and treasures kept in the monasteries from the Byzantine Empire. Have lunch at a local taverns in the nearby city of Kalambaka, located on the foothills of the rocks. Return to Larissa and enjoy the colorful city for the night overnight.
Start early in the morning with a nice breakfast and then drive to Volos to enjoy the beautiful city in front of the sea with fantastic taverns “tsipouradika” popular for serving tsipouro and meze (a selection of small dishes served as appetizers). Don’t miss to visit Makrinitsa and Portaria, the picturesque and authentic villages located on the foothills of Mount Pelion, overlooking Volos. There you can enjoy the traditional architecture of the region as well as the hospitality of the locals. You can also take part in a cooking workshop with the locals and enjoy the process of making traditional local food. Return to Kalambaka to enjoy the nightlife of the city.
Drive back to Thessaloniki for your departure.
