They will also visit the ruins of the temple of Apollo, the ancient outdoor stadium, as well as the Amphitheater. The tour ends at one of the gates of the famous medieval city of Rhodes, better known as the Old Town, classified as a historical monument by UNESCO. Here visitors will get a taste of the city’s past and present. Romantic strolls along the cobbled streets, near the impressive walls, under gates and colonnades, through squares with fountains and dark courtyards, through the rue des Chevaliers de St. Jean in front of the archaeological museum and the final walk past the Grand Master’s Palace. In addition, an amazing number of small shops sell handmade jewellery, leather, ceramics and rugs, wooden items and clothing that can be found in a small distance. Overnight in Rhodes.
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Lindos. From the moment visitors set foot in Lindos, one of the three ancient towns of the island, they will be captivated by the magnificent view over Lindos Bay. This village is a unique monument of preservation, with traditional whitewashed houses, surrounded by the dazzling blue of crystal clear waters. The astonishing beauty of the castle, the acropolis of Athena Lyndia on the top of the hill with a superb view, the bay of St. Paul (where the apostle arrived in 58 AD) and the cobbled streets of the village will fascinate visitors. A stroll through the narrow streets reveals the beauty of the island’s architecture. Visit the acropolis to feel the living history of this place. Overnight in Rhodes.

Brightly coloured houses, cobbled streets, countless churches and monasteries, seaside taverns and a multitude of stalls make up a unique environment. Arriving at the picturesque harbour, visitors will have time to venture into the shops. Lovers of seafood will have the opportunity to taste all kinds of flavours in one of the typical taverns, the boat will stop at the pier of the Monastery of Panormitis, on the west coast of the island. There they will discover the 12th-century Byzantine monastery dedicated to Archangel Michael, with impressive frescoes and an interesting museum. Return and overnight in Rhodes.
Breakfast at the hotel followed by a visit to Filerimos. A short drive along the road that runs along the west coast of the island will take visitors up the hill of Filerimos. There they will visit the medieval cloister of Notre Dame of Filerimos and the remains of the ancient Citadel of Ialyssos, another one of the three ancient cities on the island of Rhodes. Climbing the shady path of Via Crucis, with the altars that represent the stations of the Holy Martyr, will bring visitors to a promontory dominated by an enormous cross, the interior of which is equipped with a staircase whose top overseas entire northern part of the island, as well as the villages and verdant valleys. The Valley of the Butterflies offers an atmosphere of rare beauty and ecological serenity. The hillsides are uniquely rich in pines and oaks on the trunks of which thousands of butterflies with reddish wings (Panaxia quadripunctaria) nest between June and September of each year.
