Itinerary
Welcome to the hotel, small treats, and local drinks, meet the hosts, and tour of the premises. Walking tour in Veria, know the town’s history and visit key points, talk about the 3 main communities. Lunch in a local tavern and introduction of Imathia’s cuisine. Visit the Peach Blossom viewpoint, try the signature dessert dish with coffee. Dinner and night out.
Visit a local cheese production unit and try a selection of cheeses while getting to know the production line. Visit the Royal Tombs where Philippos, the father of Alexander the Great was buried, lunch in a tavern in Vergina. Return to Veria and visit local fine art shop and learn about the artifacts. Workshop of traditional artifacts. Dinner and night out.
Visit Naoussa, walking tour in town, stops in key points and visit a local farmer’s production unit. Cooking workshop with local products and light lunch in a traditional tavern with various delicacies. Visit a family-owned winery and tour from the vineyards to the cellar, ending with wine tasting. Return to Veria, dinner & night out.
Visit a small village near Veria and meet the team of a cultural centre where a small traditional dance workshop will take place. Before departure, snack on pies and enjoy some coffee while getting to know some more details about the history of the village. Transport to the airport.
