Itinerary
Arrive in the Meteora area and transfer to your hotel in Kalambaka or Kastraki. Take some time to relax and enjoy your first views of the impressive rock formations rising above the landscape.
In the afternoon or evening, enjoy a gentle walk through the village, discover local cafƩs and traditional tavernas, and feel the peaceful atmosphere of this unique destination. End the day with dinner at leisure and your first taste of local hospitality.
Start the day with a visit to the famous Meteora Monasteries, built on top of dramatic rock pillars. Admire their history, architecture and spiritual atmosphere while enjoying breathtaking views over the valley.
Later, stop at panoramic viewpoints for photos and quiet moments surrounded by one of the most impressive landscapes in Greece. In the evening, return to Kalambaka or Kastraki for dinner at leisure.
Spend the morning exploring Kastraki, a traditional village at the foot of the Meteora rocks. Walk through its quiet streets, admire the stone houses and enjoy the authentic local atmosphere.
Later, depart for Lake Plastira, one of the most beautiful mountain destinations in mainland Greece. Upon arrival, settle into your hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening with peaceful lake or mountain views.
Start the day with a scenic tour around Lake Plastira, surrounded by green mountains, forests and calm waters. Visit Neochori, one of the most charming villages in the area, offering beautiful panoramic views over the lake.
In the afternoon, enjoy free time for soft outdoor activities such as lakeside walking, cycling, boating or simply relaxing in nature. End the day with dinner in a traditional taverna and taste local mountain flavours.
Enjoy your final morning with a visit to Morfovouni or another nearby village, where authentic Greek hospitality, mountain scenery and peaceful surroundings create a beautiful last impression of the region.
Depending on your departure time, you may have free time for a final coffee by the lake, a short walk or a light lunch before your transfer. Depart with wonderful memories of Meteoraās majestic monasteries and Lake Plastiraās serene natural beauty.
