Visitors are given a life vest and then each boat gets a guide who uses poles to journey through the caverns and tunnels and will pass through some sections just wide enough to allow the boat, where visitors have to duck their heads and then enter into an enormous subterranean room with great echo. After the visit, continue to Gerolimenas (Greek: Γερολιμένας) which is a picturesque small coastal village in the municipal unit of Oitylo, at the southern end of the Mani Peninsula, in Laconia, Peloponnese, Greece.
