Athens – Paros – Santorini – Mykonos, 9 days

The day begins with a fascinating journey through time. Today’s organised guided tour will reveal the history and secrets of Ancient Athens. Walk up the Sacred Rock of the Acropolis to admire the architectural splendour of the Parthenon, the Erechtheion and the Temple of Athena Nike.

The tour continues with a panoramic drive past some of the city’s most important landmarks, including the Panathenaic Stadium, also known as Kallimarmaro, and Syntagma Square, where you may witness the impressive Changing of the Guard. The afternoon is at your leisure to explore the city centre, enjoy some shopping or relax at a traditional café.

Early in the morning, you will be transferred to the port of Piraeus, where you will board the ferry to beautiful Paros. Sit back and enjoy the journey across the deep-blue waters of the Aegean Sea.

Upon arrival, our local representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Take advantage of the afternoon to explore Parikia, the island’s charming capital. Walk through its whitewashed streets, discover traditional Cycladic houses and visit the imposing Panagia Ekatontapyliani, one of the most important early Christian churches in Greece.

In the evening, you may visit the picturesque fishing village of Naoussa, known for its colourful boats, Venetian castle ruins, elegant restaurants and lively atmosphere.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the port of Paros for your ferry journey to cosmopolitan Mykonos. Upon arrival on the Island of the Winds, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.

The remainder of the day is free to discover Mykonos Town, also known as Chora. Wander through the maze of narrow, whitewashed streets, admire the traditional blue-domed churches and explore the fashionable shops and cafés of Matogianni Street.

Continue towards the iconic windmills and Little Venice, where colourful waterfront houses create one of the most photographed settings in the Cyclades. Enjoy the sunset and experience the unique atmosphere that has made Mykonos famous around the world.

Today is entirely free for you to enjoy Mykonos at your own pace. Relax on one of the island’s famous beaches, such as Psarou, Platis Gialos, Ornos, Elia or Paradise Beach, or explore the island’s quieter and more traditional side.

You may visit the picturesque village of Ano Mera, home to the historic Monastery of Panagia Tourliani, and discover peaceful landscapes away from the lively coastal areas.

Alternatively, you may join an optional excursion to the sacred island of Delos, one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece. According to Greek mythology, Delos was the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. During your visit, you can admire ancient temples, mosaics, statues and the famous Terrace of the Lions.

Today, you will be transferred to the port of Mykonos to board the ferry to legendary Santorini. The moment the ship enters the Caldera and the impressive volcanic cliffs appear, crowned by whitewashed villages, is an unforgettable experience.

Upon arrival, our representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Spend the afternoon walking around Fira or Firostefani, exploring their charming alleys and enjoying spectacular views over the volcano and the Aegean Sea.

This day is yours to experience Santorini at your own pace. You may rent a car and explore the archaeological site of Akrotiri, the dramatic Red Beach, the traditional village of Pyrgos and the island’s unique volcanic landscapes.

Alternatively, choose the spectacular optional Volcano and Hot Springs Cruise. Board a traditional boat and sail across the waters of the Caldera. Hike around the volcanic craters of Nea Kameni, swim in the warm waters of the natural hot springs and admire Santorini’s impressive cliffs from the sea.

Complete your day in the picturesque village of Oia, where you can experience one of the most beautiful and romantic sunsets in the world.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the port of Santorini for your return ferry journey to Athens. Relax during the crossing and reflect on the wonderful experiences and scenery of the Cycladic islands.

Upon arrival at the port of Piraeus, our driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in central Athens. Enjoy your final evening in Greece with a walk through Plaka, dinner at a traditional Greek restaurant or some last-minute shopping.

Your nine-day journey through Athens and the enchanting Greek islands comes to an end. Depending on your flight departure time, our driver will collect you from your hotel and transfer you safely and comfortably to Athens International Airport.
