    Itinerary

    • Morning / Afternoon: Arrival at Rhodes International Airport (“Diagoras”). Pick up your rental car (Fly & Drive package) and take a short drive to your hotel or traditional guesthouse.
    • Afternoon: Begin your exploration in the Medieval City of Rhodes (a UNESCO World Heritage site). Step off the main commercial thoroughfares to wander the tranquil cobblestone alleys of the Jewish and Ottoman quarters, discovering shaded courtyards, gothic arches, and the majestic ramparts of the Knights Hospitaller.
    • Evening: Welcome dinner at an atmospheric traditional meze tavern in the Old Town, enjoying local wines and regional delicacies.

    • Morning: Drive into the mountainous heart of Rhodes to Embonas, the island’s highest village nestled at the foot of Mount Attavyros. Renowned for its vineyards, you will visit a family-run winery for a guided tour and tasting of indigenous grape varieties, such as Athiri and Amorgiano (Mandilaria).
    • Lunch: Enjoy a rustic lunch at a village tavern in Embonas, sampling flame-grilled local meats and the traditional Rhodian “Lkani” (slow-cooked meat with cracked wheat in a clay pot).
    • Afternoon: Continue driving west to the Castle of Kritinia, a 16th-century Knights’ fortress perched high on a cliff offering sweeping panoramic views over the Aegean Sea and neighboring islets—the ultimate spot for sunset.
    • Evening: Return to your accommodation at your leisure.

    • Morning: Drive towards Eleousa and Fountoukli in the island’s interior. Take a gentle walk along shaded forest trails lined with plane trees, pines, and natural freshwater springs.
    • Midday: Visit the villages of Dimylia or Platania. Join a local guide to learn about native Mediterranean flora, gathering wild herbs such as sage, oregano, and thyme.
    • Afternoon: Visit the historic 15th-century Byzantine Church of Agios Nikolaos Fountoukli, famous for its rare frescoes and serene setting.
    • Evening: Dinner at a village cafe featuring dishes infused with mountain herbs and wild greens.

    • (The signature day of your cultural and sensory immersion in rural Rhodes)
    • Morning | Traditional Olive Mill & Guided Tasting:
    • Step back in time to discover the heritage of olive oil production. Learn how olives were once crushed using massive stone presses and donkeys, before viewing one of the very first diesel-driven presses imported from England over a century ago.
    • Expert Oil Tasting: Sample premium extra virgin olive oils infused with natural flavors such as bergamot, mandarin, rosemary, garlic, chili, lemon, and truffle. Learn what distinguishes high-polyphenol, cold-pressed olive oil, from its health benefits to its fresh, peppery finish.
    • Late Morning | Meet the Local Artisan Cheesemaker:
    • Step into the world of rural farming as you meet a local cheesemaker who has been crafting traditional cheeses since childhood using milk exclusively from her own livestock.
    • Midday | Herbs, Beeswax & Grandma’s Natural Wellness Secrets:
    • Discover the traditional remedies and wellness rituals of the Mediterranean, learning why wild herbs, olive oil, and beeswax have been the cornerstone of local skincare and health for generations.
    • Early Afternoon | Hands-On Soap & Balm Workshop:
    • Practical Workshop: Create your own natural olive oil soap and healing beeswax salve from scratch using pure, locally sourced ingredients. A fragrant, handmade keepsake to take home.
    • Late Afternoon | Village Life Unveiled:
    • Stroll through village lanes, visit old-fashioned general stores, and discover unique local artifacts—such as cookware handcrafted from recycled vintage aircraft metal—while hearing stories from local elders.

    • Morning: Drive south early in the morning to visit Lindos before the arrival of tour buses. Wander through its maze of whitewashed alleyways lined with 17th-century captains’ mansions featuring pebble-mosaic floors (chochlakia).
    • Midday: Ascend to the breathtaking Acropolis of Lindos, where ancient Greek ruins, a Johannite fortress, and sweeping views of St. Paul’s Bay meet.
    • Afternoon: Explore the tranquil southern countryside, stopping at the village of Apolakkia and its nearby lake and nature reserve.
    • Evening: Enjoy fresh seafood at a quiet seaside tavern on the southern coast.

    • Morning: Head to the hillside village of Apollona. Visit the local Folklore Museum and meet members of the local women’s agricultural cooperative to see how they handcraft traditional melekouni (the healthy Rhodian honey, sesame, and spice bar) and fresh pasta.
    • Midday / Afternoon: Participate in an informal culinary demonstration or tasting of traditional dishes cooked in wood-fired ovens, such as pitaroudia (chickpea fritters) and slow-roasted kapama.
    • Evening: Unwind with an evening stroll through local olive groves before dinner.

    • Morning: Visit the remarkable archaeological site of Ancient Kamiros, one of the three original city-states of Rhodes. Often called the “Rhodian Pompeii,” this remarkably preserved ancient town lies nestled in a pine-scented valley overlooking the sea.
    • Midday: Drive to Archangelos, the historic center of Rhodian ceramics. Visit a master potter’s workshop, watch a demonstration on the wheel, and try your hand at shaping local clay.

Athens 4 days Group Tour from Germany

Thank you very much for the group to Athens! They had a great time. They were very enthusiastic about the trip & guide Jason. he swimming/beach stop after Corinth was a big plus. They enjoyed the nature as addition to the city and culture. Always good to add that when visiting Corinth.

The location of the hotel was very good, so a bus transfer in the evening was not always necessary. They could have easily come back via the metro to the hotel. That would have saved us real money.

Thanks again and looking forward to all the coming groups!

      Αthens, Santorini and Corfu
My Kids and I loved the trip except for our lost baggage from the Aegean airlines upon arrival at Athens at the start of the trip.Loved all the sightseeing. Tour guides and Pick up services were awesome!! Tour guides were very knowledgeable in their area and history of the city and my kids and I loved that. They answered all our questions. Pick up services were always on time.I just wish I had a little more time in Corfu to do the boat tour as I had planned. Wasn’t able to accomplish that. Loved the wine tasting, Oia and Fira in Santorini. Thank You so much for helping me plan this trip. Great memories made on this trip!!Savita
