Nymfaio
A stone treasure in the forest – aristocratic, peaceful and fairytale-like.
Nymfaio looks like a painting forgotten in time. Built at an altitude of 1,350 metres in the middle of a beech forest, this preserved village of Florina enchants visitors with its elegance and the authenticity of nature. Stone mansions, cobbled streets and traditional guesthouses create a unique sense of seclusion and tranquillity. Here you will also find the famous “Arcturos” sanctuary, connecting the landscape with the protection of wildlife. In the wider area, you can enjoy day trips and discover this corner of Macedonia, a place of unique beauty and ecological value. Explore Lakes Zazari and Chimaditida, among the most important wetlands of Northern Greece, both part of the Natura 2000 network.
