Apart from the archeological importance of the area, here you will find the option for interesting hikes in the Parnassos National Park on the E4 path and some of course on ancient paths, such as the Ancient Path of Delphi, Delphi - Korykeion Cave.
The Korykeion Cave
From a large triangular opening you will enter the cave, to admire impressive stalactites and stalagmites. Here the oldest finds of the area were discovered, dating to the Neolithic era (4000 BC).
At the Archaeological Museum
It presents the history of the oracle and hosts more important exhibits. Here you will have the opportunity to admire the Iniochos, the sculpture representing the Navel, the pediments of the temple of Apollo and other important exhibits.

Transfer from/to Delphi
Transportation to Delphi is only by car. Access from Athens is via the Athens-Lamia national road and the distance is 185km. From Thessaloniki, the access is through the national road Thessaloniki-Athens and the distance is 370km.

You will definitely need a car to travel to the archeological site and the surrounding area.
