Diana Tower
Just above the old town, the 35-meter-high Diana Lookout Tower was built in 1914 and offers fantastic views from Friendship Hill in the city. Walk the well-marked paths from the city center to the base of the tower, or take the cable car.
Loket Castle
Just 13 km from the center of Karlovy Vary is the picturesque community of Loket nad Ohri by the river, where the most beautiful attraction is the magnificent old castle above the village. Built in the 12th century, the castle of Loket (Hrad Loket) is extremely well preserved.
Mill Colonnade
Mill Colonnade is the Imperial Hospital. Built in 1881 and spreads over 2 levels, with tall columns and a renaissance design. Many of the hot springs of the spa town are housed here. Also here people can enjoy free concerts by the Prague Orchestra.
Church of St. Mary Magdalene
One of the most valuable Baroque churches in the country dating back to 1737. The Gothic statue of the Virgin Mary and the crypt of the church are also impressive. The church has wonderful acoustics, if you are lucky and find one of the concerts that are often given in the church, sit down and enjoy it.
