Overlooking the deep blue bay of Agia Pelagia, Peninsula Resort & Spa sits amid lush plantations and is surrounded by 2 beaches that offer a wide range of water sports, as well as a certified diving center. Two large pools, 2 children’s pools and 2 tennis courts are featured.

The Peninsula Resort & Spa offers elegant guest rooms styled in a local Cretan décor. In-room equipment includes air conditioning, satellite TVs and a fridge.

The buffet restaurant serves Cretan, Greek and international dishes. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be enjoyed with a view of the sea and Dia Island in the distance. Drinks can be enjoyed at the 4 bars available.

Multi-use courts for football, basketball and volleyball, pool games, table tennis and billiards are available. The animation program ends at 23:00 daily. A satellite TV area is available for gatherings and football games. A spa center with an indoor pool lies within the premises.

Car parking is available and a Byzantine Chapel enhances the hotel's entrance with its frescoes.

Itinerary

For children:

Mini-Club (4–12 years old). Our Animation Team supervises the children and organizes a variety of activities such as face-painting, games, dancing, drawing and more! The team is fluent in English and French. All nationalities are welcome despite any language barriers. It is the perfect way for children to socialize and have fun. Youngsters also get to enjoy the Kids’ Water Slides and Pool, which is located near the Mini-Club. Parents are welcome to stick around and join in! The play area, equipment and slides are available for use throughout the entire holiday season. Please note that if the Mini-Club is not in operation, children must be supervised at all times.

Activities and other leisure:

Sports and Animation. A range of activities are included in your package, as well as access to our tennis courts and multi-use court. Sports equipment is available at the Front Desk or at the Animation Box adjacent to the stage. Many group activities are also organized by our animation team. A typical day consists of a morning exercise session, aerobics and/or aqua gym, group sports as well as a variety of games. Evening entertainment then takes place at the resort’s Pool Bar and Theatre (weather permitting). The day ends with music and dancing. The music stops at 23:00 pm.
Activities include: Water polo, gymnastics, aerobics, aqua gym, darts, table tennis, mini-football, half-court basketball, yoga / stretching, volleyball, pétanque, open-air cinema, miscellaneous games, dance competitions, quizzes, sketches and mini-disco for children.
